We are a year old fully-functional social networking website with tight privacy controls and no third-party apps grabbing the users' data. We brand the site as being the place for true friends - many members use us alongside Facebook (and other networks) yet reserve us for sharing photos and news with close friends and/or family. We are seeking either a strategic partner for expansion to an even wider market or an outright buyer where the current owner can stay on for an agreed period for day-to-day running and tech-support).
User base:
The site has tens of thousands of active users around the world who primarily use us for specific friend groups or family groups without exposing all their data on other major networks. With full control over all privacy aspects the site's users trust and have confidence in us as owners. All games, forums, walls, comments, private messages, live chat etc. are hosted in-house and no external companies have access to this data.
Domain:
The ten-character domain was bought by us twelve years ago and is mentioned in online blogs, newspapers and other commentary as one of Facebook's most promising alternatives.
