Description  This is the largest original art gallery in the Dakotas and is located in an updated historic sandstone-block building in the beautiful Black Hills. With over 4,000 sq. ft., this river frontage gallery located ''across from the waterfall'' includes five exhibition spaces, wine bar, large private studio and office, public and private bathrooms, radiant heat and oak floors, eleven foot tin ceilings and lots of stained glass. The sale includes the building (valued at $650,000) and over $600,000 of gallery owned inventory for only $400,000. Some of the art includes paintings by Native American, western, contemporary, original illustration and regional artists, sculpture, pottery, jewelry, artifacts, bead work, Eskimo, African and much more. Some of the gallery inventory artists include, Peter Max, R C Gorman, Fritz Scholder, Earl Biss, Kevin Red Star, Mark Kostabi, Ivan Jenson, Robert Crumb, Wm. Schneck, Aldo Luongo Reynold Brown, Harvey Dunn, John Nieto, T C Cannon and many others. The gallery office houses the original 1800's Train Master's desk from Deadwood. The large central oak staircase culminates under a stained glass dome. This building has been completely remodeled to all the latest plumbing and electrical codes and is super insulated with hi-tech materials. Originally the Morris Grand Theater, the building was built in 1911; the outlaw Cole Younger of Jesse James and the Younger Gang spoke here in 1911. The dramatic sandstone arched and recessed entrance still has the old Morris Grand tile-work on the ground and ornamental top flag pole. A new aluminum frame construction canopy/awning announces the gallery to the public. The gallery has many dedicated art patrons.
