Description The limestone processing plant was established in 1890-1892 and has 100 year long tradition in production of limestone products. Within the area of the plant which is 800,000 square meters. In addition, it is one of the largest manufacturers of ecologically clean mineral fertilizers made of calcium and magnesium. The plant is recognized by the research center. It also manufactures limestone dust for road construction, used also as solvent for flue gas desulphurization (production stock is about 100,000 tons a year). It also offers road aggregate with fractions 0-31.5 and 31.5-63 in stocks estimated to be approximately 17-20 million tons . The receivers include mainly private companies, and global leaders like lafarge, as well as enterprises using these materials for road construction. Average annual production capacity for aggregate is about 700,000 tons. The plant is located between two industrial regions of Poland: śląsk and małopolska with population around 10 millions. This location is optimal for the group of basic receivers of the products. The plant has its own sidetrack with scales. Many receivers use road transport, based mainly on a4 highway, which provides easy connection with all important markets (cieszyn, ł¢dź and warszawa, krak¢w, katowice).
