Description Opened in 1928 as the State Theater, this theater for sale has a full stage and fly tower and is one of only three surviving theaters decorated by Arthur Brounet who frequently worked with Thomas Lamb. Ornate plasterwork fills the theater. Operated until 1986 when it became a warehouse for an antiques dealer, preliminary restoration work began in 2007. It is basically in original condition except for removal of the seats and repainting. Hanover, PA is 15 miles from Gettysburg, PA and the Hanover area has a population of over 45,000. Theater currently not operating, it will be gorgeous once restored.
