Description  This 9 MW hydroelectric project has the necessary authorizations to enter the construction phase. The environmental impact study has been approved; some administrative tasks remain for the concession to be issued. The project is located in Chiriqui, the province which borders Costa Rica. The owners are selling the project with all authorizations, permits, and project documentation. Their involvement and presence in the project up until the start of construction can be guaranteed via negotiated agreement. Other terms are also negotiable. Numerous fiscal advantages are tied to hydroelectric projects under 10 MW. These advantages address the importation and sales tax on equipment, tax credits based on CO2 emissions, tax credits linked to the construction of infrastructure (roads, bridges), etc...
