Reason for Sale Ill Health of Owner
Description Rare Sale - Current owner and franchisee of the Pizza Hut locations in Collingwood and Stayner, Ontario, is selling both units as a package.
These are curently the only two Pizza Hut re-sale locations n Ontario.
Owner is selling after more than 5 years as the operator due to ill health and has built tremendous goodwill in the buisnesses and in the local community.
Collingwood location is a 70 seat Dine-In restaurant, the Stayner is a Delivery/TakeOut location with a combined KFC Express counter. Collingwood is located in-town between the Blue Mountains ski area and Wasaga Beach, two of Ontario's most popular leisure areas.
Buyer must be approved by Pizza Hut as a new franchisee and must sign a new franchsie agreement. Pizza hut is the world's most recognised pizza franchsie brand and the new franchsiee will receive extensive training.
Selling price is all-inclusive of goodwill, F, F & E. The full team of professional staff will stay with the locations if required.
Dine-In is 4,201 sqft and delivery unit is 1,500 sqft. Both locations are on reasonable (negotiable) lease agreements.
Royalty fee for new franchisee will be 6% and advertising fee of 5%. Both locations will require refurbishment in 2013, however franchisor does have an incentive in place.
Sales for 2012 are so far up 2% year on year. The new owner could increase sales upwards of 20%, as currnet owner has not attended the business due to ill health.
