Description Just an overview of our company: We built it from the ground up, from just the two of us to a pool of over 20 interpreters in various languages. Our company uses processes that enable it to be a turn-key operation, that anyone regardless of having a background in linguistics or not, could manage. The reason we want to sell our business is so we can relocate (we are becoming full-time volunteers).
Keep in mind, we have barely scratched the surface of potential for this company, and industry. While not overly-ambitious, we built our company modestly to cover what we needed, because we do a lot of volunteer work. A great deal of our personal time has been used in a volunteer capacity, and it is the reason we are selling it; so we can relocate and pursue our volunteer work full-time.
We are located on the Ohio-Michigan border, and our work takes us across both states.
The foreign language and ASL (American Sign Language) interpreting fields are listed as having the greatest potential for growth over the next 5-10 years.
We are asking $50k for the business to cover all debt and leave us with a very small ''nest egg'' in case of any future expenses or needs. However that price is open to negotiation and possibilities.
