Description  Slaughterhouse for red meat, located next to Chisinau, the capital city of Moldova Rep. The site land has 5.500 m2, slaughterhouse and associated buildings have 1.440 m2. The site includes independent water supply source that also provides water for the surrounding households; sewage treatment plant and a farm (277 m2 brick building) where the livestock is kept prior slaughter. The main building (slaughterhouse) is build in concrete and bricks and has 3 levels: unused basement; ground floor has the slaughtering, meat packaging and processing, refrigerating, cooling and storage spaces; superior floor has offices, laboratory and separate access space built for processed meet production. The building has full access to utilities (electricity, water supply and gas). The site has expending capacity as there are some unused spaces and possibility to divide the property with a separate access. Up to 2008 the slaughterhouse was operating mainly for export to Russian Federation, with a capacity of 400 tones per moth. Currently the business is rented to a local meat processor and meat shop chain. With minimal investment the slaughterhouse can operate for EU markets being 79 km from the border with Romania and having direct access to the speed way.
