Description We are one of SE Michigan's leading advertising glossy magazine publications in business since 1991. A bi-monthly magazine with individual selling zones all throughout metro Detroit, hometown connection magazine is a unique advertising magazine in that it contains local businesses only. We have 'clean covers' which conveys an upscale look to both consumers and our advertsing business partners. We direct mail over to over 500,000 households and businesses 6 times per year.
Two of HTC's zones, the novi-northville area, and Farmington - Farmington Hills is now for sale. This is the right business for the right sales professional. Circulation for the N/N zone is presently just over 30,000 households and businesses; withe the FH zone at 25,000. The sale will be effective with the March 2012 edition (then 4 subsequent editions in the zone in 2012 in each zone), but can take over beginning in January. Seller has accurate records to support current customer bases and P&L claims.
Both zones have many existing clients under contract, with much more room for growth and new business.
These are both profitable zones, with tremendous upside for growth either organically or by increasing distribution and splitting into two equal zones (i.e increasing mailing to 40,000; split into 2/20,000 ad zones). This magazine has small monthly royalties to the company, no franchise fees, and offers the true ad sales pro unlimited income.
