Description  the company owns of all the masters of a once-in-a-generation singer of American Popular Standards (such as Michael Bouble or Diana Krall). The artist was on the verge of stardom when she died of cancer back in the mid 90's, We founded this record company for the sole purpose of producing her singing in 1990. In the year after her death, we sold 165,000 copies and took in about $850,000. We promised that artist on her deathbed that the world would hear her sing, and we have have done our best to keep that promise. We continue to release CD's and DVD's, but not in a position to put the kind of money and publicity behind her that would allow her name to proliferate in a way that her talent deserves. For example, Eva Cassidy died at the same time as our artist, and with a supportive family, sold 6,000,000 CD's. We believe that our artist could easily outdistance those sales with the right exposure. We are looking for a buyer that would have the wherewithal not only to promote her product and voice, but to be in constant contact with Music Supervisors to get her voice into film and television, and perhaps have movies and books made of her extraordinary life, our partners (A NYC book publishing company) have an option to publish a book and produce a film, based on her life; all rights to the book and film belong to us, and the company will greatly profit from this deal, which is scheduled to be announced sometime next year (2012). Typically we take in about a hundred thousand dollars a year from the artist and that's with absolutely no publicity and marketing.
