Description Fantastic Opportunity - to acquire an operating company and move it from current location in Mexico to anywhere in the U.S. The company produces a patented form of ''metal matrix composite'' material - containing a proprietary mix of ceramics and traditional metals. The end product is lighter and stronger than steel or titanium. It can be rolled, milled, extruded and generally worked like traditional metals. The products were developed in the 1990's and were the property of a high-flying company that spent over $25 million developing the material, but eventually went bankrupt.
Assets of that company were purchased and a new manufacturing facility was set up in Mexico. But, the materials they produce are best used to build nuclear containment vessels (for which there is a rapidly expanding market) and the customers for these vessels cannot buy them from a Mexico-based manufacturer.
Over $25 million worth of orders exist - but cannot be produced by the company because of these challenges. You can acquire the company and move it's high-tech manufacturing jobs back to the U.S. 20 issued patents, a very strong established market, tons of product has been produced, no challenges and not that hard to produce.
Purchase price = $2 million, includes all patents, equipment, beginning inventory, and continued relationship with the Founder/Business development and Marketing guy.
