Description We are a 10-year old company and the primary business software solutions provider for the insurance broker industry in Malaysia. Our business software (called the Equal Insurance Broker System) is developed in-house. The business potential in this industry is profitable both locally and regionally. Competition/Market: Our competitors are mainly UK, Australia or Singapore - based. Locally, we have a competitor supporting 1 client. We currently have 11 clients and have 25% market share of the industry.
Potential:
1. As a 10 year old company, we have built good relationships with many of our clients and their word of mouth helps us in selling our solution
2. We have had calls from regional countries inquiring on the software but due to lack of resources, we are unable to go to those markets at the moment. There is a big potential, especially in Singapore.
3. Accompanying systems can be developed to provide 'plugins' to the current solution (such as crm or client-centric web-based programs) as additional value-added tools to our existing clients. This will also be an attraction to prospects looking into buying our solution
