The company is a 13 year old ,proprietorship concern. It was started in 1998 with 15 meals and over these past 12 years it has grown to become a market leader for corporate catering services in Bangalore, catering to 3000 meals a day to MNC's. It has acquired a leading edge compared to other catering companies to produce meals in large quantities maintaining its profitability in a market where food prices are fluctuating on a monthly basis. Keeping the food cost in check is of paramount importance in bulk catering and over a period of time we have mastered it.
I am the proprietor of venjer caterers & a hotel management graduate. I have worked for the ITC Group of hotels and Pespsico Restaurants before starting this company. A chef by profession I have knowledge on most of the cuisines of the world and also in bakery and confectionary. I have been featured in most of the leading newspapers and have held cooking demonstrations on national television channels.
An exotic cookery show was organised in Kerela last year by me for the rotary club. I also provides consultancy for restaurants. In Italy I have done an assignment on fusion cuisine for a restaurant.
The company has the necessary infrastructure (10,000 sqft of space) and know-how to achieve its objectives and continuously increase its sales and profit margins, keeping the high quality standard as its benchmark.
The kitchen has separate and well defined areas for production, storage, receiving and dispatch. The cooking system is one of its kind being used only by us in Bangalore.
We use a lot of machinery in our cooking process which helps us in doing our daily operation with ease and using lesser manpower. Our standardisation of recipes have helped us in keeping the food cost under control. We make our own masala for catering. Our capacity to cook food is approx 6000 meals per day with the existing setup and we also have space to increase our capacity if needed.
