Description Greetings all. Do you think you missed your opportunity to capture the MMJ market in Colorado until next July? Well I may have a business opportunity that you would like to pursue.
As mentioned, my business is a MMJ-centric business for sale, but no licensing, background checks, or state filing is needed for to run my business. I don't ''physically'' deal with the medicines.
-I have been running my business since last December (2009; registered in CO; sales tax certs, etc), and since then, I have sold to and retained 15 customers (6 on S Broadway in Denver, alone!).
-Revenue to date is skirting $100K for the year with GP Margins around 20-30 points.
-Current Realized Reoccurring Revenue Stream is $250/mo with another $825/mo or so still to be realized from current customer base.
So why sell the intellectual rights and company? Well, I'm not married to it, and I believe the company is at a point where either I need to retain investors to help it grow, or I just need to let it go to someone that has the means that can grow it more than where it is today. I'm guessing if I had more time/money/people this year that I could have easily doubled my revenue. The numbers you see above came solely from one person (me). The business is IT intensive, but can be run by anyone with good contractors and management skills.
With all new rules and regulations being forced on MMC's through SB1284 and the Colorado Department of Revenue, my business forecast for next year (with current model; just me) is $200K. That would be tripling my current customer base.
