Description  We are offering for sale all or part of one of the fastest growing franchising companies in the country. This ownership is for the parent company (the ''franchisor'') of an international haircutting franchise - this listing is NOT for a franchised location. This is an opportunity to invest in a business with contractual, increasing revenues. The company has 70 locations open in 18 states and forecasts an additional 25 more opening in the next year, including locations abroad (20 opened this year). The pipeline of 450 contractual openings currently extends for the next 25 years. Your purchase may either be active or 100% passive. Management is willing to stay after the sale, but no knowledge of haircutting is needed. The company's revenues are expected to double in 2011 to $3.5 million, with adjusted net income of $600,000 which is growing quickly ($1,000,000 in profits budgeted for 2012). The company is based in Texas, but owners may reside anywhere and the corporate office is easily mobile. Asking price is $9 million, or $90,000 per percent purchased (if a partial purchase is desired). The company has no debt. Owners are motivated to sell, so this $9 million price represents a 25% discount to prices of comparable companies which have excessive levels of debt. An independent investment bank valued the business at $8 million two years ago during the credit crisis when the company was 1/2 the size and breakeven. The owners are looking to sell because one would like simply to take money out (invested for 4 years) and one would like to use the proceeds for retirement.
