The agency is 70% health products (individual/group, disability, Medicare supplement) and 30% P&C (mostly personal insurance; 60% standard/40% non-standard). Annual commissions are around $175,000 per year and are growing slightly in '13. The owner prefers to stay on part-time but have freedom with their schedule as needed.
