Description  Our restaurant (The Shak) in 18 months of operation has become the #1 restaurant in the great resort town of Whitefish in Western Montana according to TripAdvisor. We serve southern fried chicken (over 53,000 pieces) in our first 18 months, outstanding BBQ pulled pork, brisket, ribs, crawfish etoufee, fried catfish and shrimp. We currently lease the building but it is available for purchase. We have an excellent location on Hwy 93, the main highway from Canada south. This town has excellent skiing at Big Mountain (a world class resort) along with Whitefish lake and Flathead Lake. We are also only 30 minutes to Glacier National Park, so we have tourist most of the year. Our success can be attributed to outstanding food and customer service. We have a large local following and instituted a frequent grub card that after purchasing 9 meals we give them the 10th meal free, our wall is plastered with used cards. We have utilized youtube to further expand our outreach. Our position on TripAdvisor drives a large amount of traffic to us during tourist time, averaging over 2000 people a week looking for a restaurant in Whitefish. However our local customer base is great and growing daily, we have excellent word of mouth. In our first year of operation we grossed almost 375k in a terrible economy opening at the end of the summer, not bad. We average between 25-30k a month and in the summer our best month did 52k gross. I love doing this business but would like to move onto other challenges in my life that I would like to try and would like to spend more time with my 8 year old daughter. We currently draw 3k a month and it can only grow from there. Our expenses are minimum. My asking price is $75k that would include all the equipment, smokers and my receipies and the good will that we have created in the community. Of course I would be willing to work with the buyer for a stated period of time to mak,e sure they have the operations down.
