Description Excellent opportunity to subcontract for FedEx. Income: Gross $101,000 to $110,000 plus per year.
Route: \Runs out of Ft. Myers to Sebring. This is a very tight route, it takes approximately an hour and a half to drive to Sebring then approximately six to seven hours to run the route. This route is one of the best routes as far as hours worked in the Ft. Myers FedEx branch. I start at 6:30am and back home around 3:30pm. I normally work less than fifty hours per week. I am off weekends and most holidays.
Truck: 2007 Freightliner P1100 with Mercedes motor. Truck runs great and has been well maintained. Truck is under lease agreement until October 2011. Truck payment is $977/mo. Will take $80,000 for route and assume truck lease or $91,000 and will pay off lease. This will save you approximately $2,000 over the length of the lease.
Qualifications: Clean driving record, must have at least 6 mos. experience driving similar type truck. Must be able to pass a D.O.T. physical and comply with a FedEx testing and screening. FedEx conducts a criminal background and drug tests. Must be incorporated (S-Corp or C-Corp only) before signing contract with FedEx. If you are not incorporated the cost to incorporate is $500 to $600 and most accountants can do it. I have an accountant that can do it and it takes approximately one to two weeks.
Training: Will train for two to three weeks as needed.
