The revenue lost by inaccurate meters and non-performing meters can be a staggering number. In addition, the company has developed and produced their own line of automatic meter reading equipment that is compatible with frequencies in the US, Canada, Europe and other parts of the world. Their specialty niche is the small to mid-size utility or municipality. There is virtually an untapped market in this size range. Canada has now passed legislation that all water meters be tested for accuracy on a periodic basis so the need for testing will only increase as the cost and scarcity of water increase. The company's founder has developed and holds many patents that are used by the company. He is an active inventor and consultant to the industry and a member of the AWWA board of standards.
