Description The Edo Japan concept, developed over 30 years ago, originated the quick serve, (fast food) concept of serving fresh Japanese food Teppan style. This original and creative idea implemented within shopping malls has made Edo Japan one of the largest and most popular franchising operations serving Japanese food in North America. This Edo Japan franchise has continuously been in operation in Tillicum Centre for ten years. The current owner has successfully and profitably operated the franchise since 2007. Being a highly desirable culinary option and one of the very few food choices in the Mall means that this location is always busy. After ten years of operation, the Franchisor requires the Franchisee to do facelift renovations. This work is scheduled for the slowest month, July, and will involve the conversion of part of the facility to include the new sushi bar concept. There are no other sushi purveyors in the mall or the area. The $120,000 construction cost will be paid by the Seller and is included in the asking price.
