Description Taylor Pro Training has been successful in building relationships and programs that set them apart from other training schools in the area.
Taylor Pro Training is located in Kelowna, BC and trains drivers from all over British Columbia and Canada. They have provided the trucking industry with a large number of well trained students that are currently employed as professional drivers. Instructors at Taylor Pro Training are able to pass on their combined knowledge, experience and safe operating skills to the students. Students will be taught on equipment equivalent to those used in the industry today. These courses are competency based and job oriented.
Establishing instructional courses along with teacher training proved to set Taylor Pro's training out above other schools. Taylor Pro is now the only school outside the lower mainland that has both the Class Five and Class One Instructor programs.
They have obtained their accreditation with PCTIA which gave them their Student Loan Designation. Students now have additional means to obtain funding to attend their school. The results of introducing the student loan program brought an 80% increase of sales. Taylor Pro offers small class sizes which provide students with more personal attention from instructors. Students can also combine the commercial driving and heavy equipment license so they only have to apply for a student loan once.
They are now the third school in the province of BC to offer the Air Brake Instructor Program and the only school outside the lower mainland. They also offer certificate programs for forklift operation at the College.
