Description Xtreme Crawl is a great opportunity for someone to start there own rental business. I bought a 16' double axle trailer and stripped the wood from the floor. We proceeded to build a structure from 1'' X 1'' tubing. After the frame was welded we added rebar to make curves and bends. I then ordered a pallet of foamlite concrete from a place in phoenix AZ. Foamlite weighs 50% less than real concrete and also gives better when stressed of flexed. We then covered the whole trailer with a 6'' layer of foamlite. We welded post to the outside of the trailer for netting to catch the trucks. A door was made for the rear and you have ample room for storage of rocks, chairs, tables, and electrical cords. The trailer was showcased at the Arkansas outdoor sportshow at the Arkansas state convocation center. This was a 3 day event and it cost $300 for the space. I charged $4 a person for 5 minutes of crawling. Over the 3 day event I had 519 rentals. I earned $2076 for the 3 day event minus the $300 rental space and I grossed $1776.00. This show was open Friday 4pm - 9pm, Saturday 9am - 9pm, and Sunday 10am - 6pm. So I worked 25 hours over 3 days and made $71.04 an hour. This trailer has since been to 1 Tamiya championship series race, and 1 national event. This is perfect for birthday parties, corporate events or charity events.
